The 550+ billion dollars per year integrated circuits industry is evolving into an analog digital mixed signal industry. Recognizing this, Texas Governor Rick Perry announced the creation of TxACE in October 2008. The center is a $50 million collaboration among the leading semiconductor organizations. TxACE is committed to holistic collaborative analog and mixed signal circuit research that creates revolutionary integrated circuits and systems driven by both great societal needs and industry.
