Undergraduate Internships at Texas Analog Center for Excellence

The $550+ billion per year integrated circuits industry is evolving into an analog, digital mixed signal industry. Recognizing this, Texas Governor Rick Perry announced the creation of TxACE in October 2008. The center is a $50 million collaboration among the leading semiconductor organizations. Announcement

TxACE has openings for multiple internship positions. It is looking for highly motivated undergraduate students with a strong interest in analog and mixed-signal electronics and related topics such as  RF, security, sensors, power electronics, signal processing etc. The candidate should have substantial fundamentals and the ability to think independently. The candidate should work effectively under the direct supervision of a TxACE affiliated faculty in his/her research group.

Qualifications

Internships are available to all undergraduates at The Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science. Each resume must include (i) Department and cumulative GPA, (ii) Engineering courses and the corresponding grades, (iii) Name of a UTD ECE faculty who can serve as a reference (no letter needed), (iv) Expected graduation date and (v) Visa status (e.g., US citizen, permanent resident, F-1). Duration and Location

Internships will commence in Spring 2026 and must be completed either in Summer 2026 or Fall 2026. The internship duration is two full semesters. Students must be in Texas to be paid as an hourly employee due to tax laws. Students will be paid $12.50/hour and can work up to 400 hours in total.
